OWENTON, KY – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that on Sunday August 13, 2023 at approximately 1:21 A.M. KSP Post 5 in Campbellsburg received a call that advised there had been a shooting at 3775 Squiresville Road in Owenton. The caller advised the victim was a 16 year male.
Detectives and other Kentucky State Police Post 5 personnel responded to the scene. The victim was later pronounced deceased by the Owen County Coroner. The next of kin has been notified.
As a result of the preliminary investigation Timothy Stone, 40 year old male of Owenton, was arrested.
Timothy Stone was charged with:
- MANSLAUGHTER 2ND DEGREE
Mr. Stone was transported to and lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.
