LONDON, KY (April 19, 2023) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Jennifer Ann Carlson age 37 of Richmond, KY on Tuesday afternoon April 18, 2023 at approximately 4:40 PM.
The arrest occurred off West Laurel Road, approximately 1 1/2 miles west of London after Sgt. Mehler was dispatched to a complaint of a possible intoxicated female refusing to leave a business there, allegedly locking herself in the bathroom of the business.
Upon arrival at the scene, Sgt. Mehler located the suspect standing on the side of the roadway there and conducted an investigation determining that this subject was under the influence. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Jennifer Carlson was charged with:
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
