LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Stephen Walker arrested Nancy Benge age 55 of London on Saturday afternoon, March 18, 2023 at approximately 4:30 PM.
The arrest occurred at a residence off Old State Road, approximately 4 miles South of London after Deputy Walker was dispatched to a complaint of a female subject apparently on drugs at a residence that she was not supposed to be at.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Walker conducted an investigation determining that this subject was under the influence. In addition, it was determined that she was wanted on two (2) outstanding warrants.
Nancy Benge was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
Also, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Criminal trespassing – third-degree
In addition, this subject was charged on a second Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
