SOMERSET, KY - Via Facebook, according to the Somerset Police Department (SPD), on Friday, March 10, 2023, Officer Derrick Glover received a tip that a Nijal J Fitzpatrick was in possession of firearms and ultimately violating his probation.
Acting on this tip, Probation and Parole along with SPD Officer, Derrick Glover went to Fitzpatrick’s residence and came into contact with Nijal J Fitzpatrick, age 28 of Chattanooga, TN and a search was conducted.
Probation and Parole located alcohol, ammunition, and firearm magazines which violated his probation.
In addition, during the search, Officer Glover located 99 pressed Fentanyl pills, Cocaine, almost 21 grams of Marijuana, scales, other drug paraphernalia, and $2,272.00 in cash that was located on his person.
Also, when Officers arrived at the residence, they encountered a 2nd individual identified as Shauntae Suzane Fitzpatrick, age 27 of Somerset, KY.
Following the search, both individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center in Somerset.

- DRUG PARAPHERNALIA - BUY/POSSESS
Shauntae Fitzpatrick is charged with:
- POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEG 1ST OFF (COCAINE)
- TRAFF IN CONT SUB, 1ST OFFENSE (CARFENTANIL OR FENTANYL DERIVATIVES)
- TRAF IN MARIJUANA ( LESS THAN 8 OZ.) 1ST OFF
- DRUG PARAPHERNALIA - BUY/POSSESS
Both Nijal and Shauntae were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center that day.
