ARREST: Deputies observe Stolen Trailblazer traveling 25 MPH over Speed Limit in Laurel County, Kentucky

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Hobie Daugherty arrested Jeremy Roberts age 27 of Robert E. Cox Road, Corbin early Thursday morning July 29, 2021 at approximately 3:00 AM.

The arrest occurred on American Greeting Card Road, approximately 10 miles South of London after deputies observed a silver colored Chevrolet Trailblazer traveling 25 mph over the speed limit.

A traffic stop was conducted and it was learned that the vehicle was a reported stolen vehicle stolen in Cincinnati Ohio.

In addition the driver was operating on a DUI suspended license.

Jeremy Roberts was charged with:

  • Receiving stolen property $10,000 or more
  • Driving on DUI suspended license – second offense
  • Speeding more than 25 mph over the limit

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
