Sheriff's Department seizes more Meth on Mothers Day in Whitley County, Kentucky

WILLIAMSBURG, KY- (May 11, 2020) - The Whitley County Sheriff's Department is reporting that: On May 10, Deputy Chad Foley arrested Joseph Moses in the Canadatown area for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and Driving Under the Influence.

Deputy Foley seized:

  • Methamphetamine
  • Syringes
  • Paraphernalia
  • Cash used to traffic in controlled substances

Joseph Moses age 35 was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.

Deputy Foley will continue the investigation and all leads that have been provided by the community since the arrest.

"We continue to aggressively patrol and investigate Methamphetamine related crimes. The efforts of our deputies has yielded significant quantities of Methamphetamine that have allowed us to partner with other agencies to utilize more resources for our community.

We continue to serve around the clock and will do so aggressively."
