LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Matt Walker along with Deputy Zach Allen and Deputy Joey Smith arrested Joseph Neese, age 40, of London on Monday night February 10, 2025 at approximately 9:18 PM.
The arrest occurred off Abutment Road, approximately 4 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a possible domestic complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies located the female victim outside and learned that allegedly Neese had hit her several times.
Deputies noted swelling and bruising under her left eye.
When deputies made contact with Neese he was located in the floor behind a bed in the residence.
Deputies noted that this individual had a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from him. Following an investigation, deputies arrested Joseph Neese.
Joseph Neese was charged with:
- ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
