Suspect Flees Scene as Police Recover Stolen Motorcycle Found Inside a Residence

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Jamie Etherton along with Deputy Travis Napier, Sgt. Greg Poynter, Deputy Daniel Reed, with assistance from London City Police arrested James Everett Zeo age 42 of London on Wednesday night April 22, 2020 at approximately 8:11 PM.

The arrest occurred off Finley Trailer Park Road, approximately 1/2 mile South of London while deputies were investigating the report that a stolen motorcycle was allegedly located at a residence there.

Upon arrival at the scene the reported stolen motorcycle was found inside a residence there and while deputies were recovering the motorcycle, the male suspect there fled the scene refusing deputies commands to stop and was found hiding under a residence nearby.

The suspect, James Everett Zeo, was charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000; fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot; resisting arrest. an outstanding Knox District Court bench warrant of arrest.

Deputies noted also that the recovered motorcycle that was identified by the owner who stated that the bike had apparently been painted black.

James Everett Zeo was lodged in the Laurel County correctional Center.
