LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Travis Napier arrested Jennifer Maggard age 38 of London on Monday night April 13, 2020 at approximately 6:27 PM.
The arrest occurred off Finley Trailer Park Road, approximately 1/2 mile South of London after deputies along with Laurel County Fire Department were dispatched to a complaint that a female tenant had apparently caught her camper on fire, and that she was outside creating a disturbance.
Upon arrival at the scene the suspect was located yelling and creating a disturbance in the neighborhood.
This individual was determined to be under the influence and upon arrest pulled away from deputies attempting to flee but was taken into custody.
Jennifer Maggard was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Resisting arrest
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
