LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root and KSP Post 11, Capt. Ryan Catron announce that: On Tuesday afternoon March 18, 2025, at approximately 12:51 PM law enforcement investigators were dispatched by London – Laurel 911 Communications Center to a gunshot victim off Parker Road 1 mile west of London near the 500 block.
When investigators arrived at the scene they found an adult male deceased outside a residence.
A death investigation was conducted where it was determined that an incident had allegedly occurred between two individuals resulting in one individual being shot multiple times causing fatal injuries. Investigators have recovered a rifle at the scene.
The deceased individual was identified as: Walter Trebolo III, age 45, of London pronounced deceased at the scene by Laurel County Coroner Doug Bowling.
After lab examinations are completed, investigators will make a presentation to the next term of the Laurel County grand jury for their consideration.
Assisting at the scene were: Laurel County Coroner Doug Bowling, Laurel County Commonwealth Atty. Jackie Steele, Assistant Commonwealth Atty. Brandon Jones, Laurel County deputies and detectives, Kentucky State Police Troopers and Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County.
