Meth located by Clay County Sheriff during complaint investigation

MANCHESTER, KY - The Clay County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: On Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at approximately 11:25 Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson along with CSO Supervisor Dewey Grubb arrested Rachel Jones, 44 of Rocky Branch Road.

The arrest occurred when Sheriff Robinson was dispatched out to a complaint on Gabbards Fork Road of a female subject passed out behind the wheel of an automobile.

Upon arrival, Sheriff Robinson made contact with the subject who was manifestly under the influence of intoxicants. During the search of the subject, Sheriff Robinson located Methamphetamine on the subject.

Rachel Jones was charged with:

• Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
• Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine)
