3 arrests during Complaint Investigation in Oneida area of Clay County

CLAY COUNTY, KY - The clay county sheriff's Department is reporting that: On Friday December 27, 2019 at approximately 1:30 PM Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson along with CSO Supervisor Dewey Grubb, Sgt. Jeremy Gabbard, Deputy Kendric Smith, Deputy Cody Blackwell, Deputy Jared Smith received several complaints of individuals in the Onedia area of Clay County pertaining to recent thefts.

While Sgt. Gabbard and Deputy Blackwell were in the area they encountered a male subject who fled on foot.

Units mentioned provided additional backup where they conducted a traffic stop on a Green ATV on Crane Branch Road, through investigation it was determined the vehicle identification number had been altered.

During the search for the subject, units discovered a male individual that had an active indictment warrant for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance through an investigation held by the Clay County Sheriff's Office and a female who had numerous warrants for her arrest.

Jessica Bowling, 35 of Highway 1482 was charged with:

• Obscuring the Identity of a Machine

Rebecca Vaughn, 39 of Sally Little Road was charged with:

• Serving Bench Warrant for Court
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court

Donald Martin, 51 of Highway 1482 was charged with:

• Serving Clay County Indictment Warrant (Trafficking in a Controlled Substance)
