Clay County, Ky. (December 24, 2019) - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on December 24, 2019 at approximately 1:40 PM Clay County Sheriff Detective Jeff Kelsey along with Deputy Kendric Smith and Deputy Jared Smith arrested Kenneth Bowling, 25 of Gum Branch Road.
The arrest occurred when units was dispatched to a complaint of a suspicious male on Morgan Branch Road.
Upon arrival units made contact with the subject sitting on the side of the road with possible stolen items.
Once the subjects information was ran through Clay County Dispatch it was confirmed the subject had an active bench warrant for his arrest.
Detective Jeff Kelsey is in charge of the investigation. Anyone having any information pertaining to the possible stolen items the subject had in his possession needs to contact the Clay County Sheriff Office and speak to Det. Kelsey.
