Manchester man arrested after fleeing MPD Officers

MANCHESTER, KY (December 21, 2019) - The Manchester Police Department is reporting that: On Saturday, December 21, 2019 at around 12:30 AM Officer Wes Wolfe and K-9 Officer Ryan Jackson were providing extra patrol in East Manchester, when Officer Wolfe located a male walking around a residence.

Officer Wolfe attempted to make contact with the subject, who then ran in the direction of 3rd. Street in an attempt to evade the Officers.

A canvas of the area was then initiated and Officers located Wille Henson attempting to hide in some tall brush. Loud verbal commands were given, Henson did not comply, but was eventually apprehended and transported to the Clay County Detention Center.

Wille Henson age 40 of Manchester was charged with:

  • Fleeing or evading police, 2nd degree (on foot)
  • Resisting arrest
  • Criminal trespass 3rd degree
