Laurel County, Ky. (Sept. 19, 2019) - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Gary Mehler arrested Anthony Lawson age 40 of London on Tuesday night September 17, 2019 at approximately 9:21 PM.
The arrest occurred at a business off West Cumberland Gap Pkwy., approximately 9 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a possible intoxicated person there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Mehler conducted an investigation and determined that this individual was under the influence.
Anthony Lawson was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
