Girdler, Ky. ( August 20, 2019 )- The Knox County, Ky Sheriff's Department is reporting that: On Monday August 19, 2019 at approximately 2:10 PM while on patrol in the Girdler area, Knox County Deputy Sam Mullins observed a possible illegal drug transaction.
The suspicious activity involved a 2009 silver Chevrolet Impala and was occurring in a local business parking lot on Highway 11 in Girdler.
After conducting an investigation, Deputy Mullins located numerous Oxycodone and Hydrocodone tablets.
Arrested was 58 year old Randall R. Engle of Cannon, KY.
Randall R. Engle was charged with:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree
- Prescription Controlled Substance not Proper Container
This individual was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
