Clay County Sheriff, Patrick Robinson, reports that on Monday, February 3rd, 2025 Deputy Walter Marker and Deputy Dustin Henson responded to a complaint on an altercation between a husband and wife.
Upon arrival Deputies observed the female victim with visible injuries sustained to her face.
The victim advised deputies that Robert Spurlock was under the influence of alcoholic beverage and got violent, hitting her in the face with an open hand, chased her through the house and kicked a door in where she attempted to avoid further altercation.
Robert Spurlock, 43, was arrested for:
- ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY
