Traffic Crash in Laurel County results in 3 arrests

Laurel County, Ky. -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Taylor McDaniel along with Sgt. Brett Reeves arrested three individuals on Friday morning March 8, 2019 at approximately 9:29 AM.

The arrests occurred after deputies were dispatched to a two vehicle traffic crash and upon arrival at the scene determined that two individuals that were occupants in the at fault vehicle had fled the scene of the crash.

Deputies located the two and determined that both were under the influence.

In addition, a third individual at the crash site was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

The three arrested individuals were identified as:

  • April Wilder age 38 of Somerset Road, London -charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; leaving scene of an accident.
  • Larry Profitt age 27 of Kentucky Hollow Road, London -charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; leaving scene of accident.
  • Amber Holt age 27 of Kentucky Hollow Road, London -charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting under $500.
  • These three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
