DALLAS, TX – Bienvenido proudly congratulates Ambassador Christopher Landau, a distinguished diplomat and a valued member of our Advisory Board, on his nomination by President-elect Donald J. Trump to serve as Deputy Secretary of State. Landau’s nomination, alongside Secretary of State nominee Marco Rubio, represents a formidable and strategic step toward an America First foreign policy grounded in strength, security, and sound diplomacy.
Christopher Landau’s credentials are indisputable. A Harvard-educated legal mind who clerked for Supreme Court Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas, he has argued multiple cases before the Supreme Court and has been a steadfast defender of American interests. As U.S. Ambassador to Mexico during the Trump administration, Landau played a pivotal role in achieving historic reductions in illegal migration, reinforcing our southern border, and advancing bilateral cooperation with Mexico.
The significance of this nomination extends beyond Ambassador Landau’s sterling résumé. His appointment, paired with Senator Marco Rubio at the helm of the State Department, signals a renewed prioritization of Latin America in American foreign policy. This leadership team possesses unmatched regional expertise — a decisive and long-overdue acknowledgment of the Western Hemisphere’s strategic importance.
“Ambassador Landau embodies the qualities of a true statesman: intellect, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to American sovereignty,” said Abraham Enriquez, President of Bienvenido. “His experience in Latin America, paired with his conservative principles and dedication to securing our borders, makes him an outstanding choice for Deputy Secretary of State. We urge the Senate to swiftly secure his nomination and look forward to the impact his leadership will have on advancing freedom and prosperity.”
Bienvenido applauds President-elect Trump for this outstanding nomination and stands ready to support Christopher Landau in his efforts to shape a foreign policy that reflects the best of American resolve.
