Money Bag theft suspects identified & arrested in Laurel County

Laurel County, Ky. -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Detective Daniel Grigsby, Det. Sgt Chris Edwards, Det. Bryon Lawson, Det. James Sizemore, and Deputy Josh Scott have arrested two individuals charging them with the theft of two money bags from Pit Stop Grocery at Parker Road on Feb. 14th, 2019, and fleeing in a red SUV.

The arrests were the result of an investigation conducted by the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office after numerous surveillance photos of the theft were placed on the Laurel Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, and distributed to area media and TV stations, and numerous tips came in identifying the two suspects.

The two arrested individuals were identified as:

  • Jennifer R. Wallace age 33 of London who turned herself in to Laurel Sheriff’s detectives, and was charged and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center charged with Theft over $500 but under $10,000.
  • Thomas B. Asher age 28 of London arrested on 3-1-2019 by Laurel Sheriff’s Detectives and Deputies who arrested him on Ky. 192 in London charging him on a warrant obtained by Laurel Sheriff’s Detective Daniel Grigsby charging Theft over $500 but under $10,000, and lodged him in the Laurel county Detention Center.
