Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards along with Sgt. John Inman arrested three individuals early Wednesday morning January 9, 2019 at approximately 4:04 AM.
The arrests occurred following an investigation conducted after a female assault victim was brought to Corbin Healthcare Hospital for treatment following an alleged incident where her boyfriend had apparently fired a weapon (rifle) multiple times in the vicinity of the victim.
In addition, it was learned through investigation that the accused had also sprayed the female victim with a fire extinguisher and then had struck her in the back and side with the fire extinguisher canister causing injury.
During the investigation deputies conducted a search at the residence, 16 miles west of London where the incident occurred and found the accused in possession of a large amount of suspected crystal methamphetamine (over 40 grams).
Two female subjects located at the residence were determined to be under the influence and were arrested.

All three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
