Treasurer Allison Ball Selected for Prestigious Rodel Fellowship Program

FRANKFORT, KY. (Wednesday, October 3, 2018) – Kentucky State Treasurer Allison Ball was selected as one of twenty-four elected leaders named to the 2018 Aspen Institute-Rodel Fellowships in Public Leadership program.

“It is an honor to be selected for this prestigious Rodel Fellowship,” Treasurer Ball said. “I am looking forward to working with other young leaders from across our country to thoughtfully tackle important issues facing our nation.”

The Rodel Fellowship program is open by invitation only to individuals between the ages of 25 and 50 in publicly elected office. Selected on an annual basis, each class consists of twenty-four Fellows, identified by the program’s leadership as America’s emerging political leaders with reputations for intellect, thoughtfulness, and a commitment to civil dialogue.

The Aspen Institute is an educational and policy studies organization based in Washington, D.C. Its mission is to foster leadership based on enduring values and to provide a nonpartisan venue for dealing with critical issues. The institute has earned a reputation for gathering diverse thought leaders, creatives, scholars, and members of the public to address some of the world’s most complex problems.
