Woodford County Man Sentenced for Armed Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Trafficking

LEXINGTON, KY – A Versailles, Ky., man, Anthony Travon Garrett, 31, was sentenced on Wednesday, by Chief U.S. District Judge Danny Reeves, to 240 months in prison, for possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.

PROACTIVE PATROL REMINDER TO MOTORISTS USING PUBLIC ROADWAYS IN KENTUCKY

PUBLIC'S HELP NEEDED: UNLAWFUL POISONING KILLED WOLVES, EAGLES AND OTHER WILDLIFE IN WALLOWA COUNTY, OREGON

WALLOWA COUNTY, OR - The Oregon State Police (OSP) Fish & Wildlife Division is partnering with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Office of Law Enforcement to investigate the unlawful poisoning of three gray wolves, two golden eagles, a mountain lion, and a coyote in the Imnaha River drainage in February of 2024 (link to USFWS Press Release). It should be noted that the suspected source of poison was removed from the landscape by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to prevent further poisonings.
