Mr. George “Tom” Byrd, age 75 departed this life on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the Landmark of Laurel Creek. He was born on Friday, June 23, 1944 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Oscar and Hazel Hicks Byrd. He was a farmer and a member of the Maulden Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Nadine Mills, 74, of Barbourville, KY, passed away Sunday, April 19th, at the Christian Health Care Center in Corbin.
Patricia Campbell, 75, of Manchester, KY, passed away Thursday, April 16th, at the Landmark of Laurel Creek Nursing Home. Patricia was born in Beverly, KY on April 29, 1944, a daughter of the late Edna (Abner) and Renus Whitehead.
Pastor Jesse Martin, age 90 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at his home. He was born on Monday, March 17, 1930 in Bullskin, Kentucky to the union of Chester and Della Davidson Martin. He was a minister and Pastor of the Sizerock Baptist Church for over 60 years as well as a veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Korean Conflict.
Deanna Gail Morgan born August 7, 1974 in Hyden, KY., the daughter of Kathy Jean Woods Morgan Trout & the late, Kenneth Morgan. She passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 at the age of 45. By occupation she had worked in restaurants. She was a graduate of Culinary School. Deanna enjoyed cooking & spending time with her family.
Reuben Curtis (R.C.) Walker was born on April 29th, 1934 in London, Kentucky to William Russell and Ruth Johnson Walker. He passed away on April 16th, 2020 at the age of 85 years, 11 months and 15 days.
R.C. started his career in the funeral service at the age of 16. He worked as a Funeral Director at the House Funeral Home, Bowling-Walker Funeral Home, House & Rawlings Funeral Home and the Laurel Funeral Home until 1989.
Craig William Tyler Bargo, age 31 of Cannon, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, April 13, 2020 at his home. He was the son of Beverly (Ledford) and Pete Evans. He was born in Barbourville, Kentucky on October 27, 1988. He was a 2010 graduate of Lynn Camp High School where he was an all-star student athlete and he had also attended Eastern KY University. He was a member of the Apple Grove Baptist Church.
