James Phillip Marcum, 92, of Manchester passed away Tuesday March 18th, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
He is survived by his wife Lucy Marcum, Goose Rock, one son Eddie Marcum and wife Donna, Burning Springs, and two daughters, Susan Corum and husband Parker, Goose Rock, and Patsy Farthing and husband Jack, Newnan, Georgia.
Also surviving is one son in law Bob Brant and one sister Grace Marcum, Frankfort, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Linda Brant, and the following brothers and sisters: Ruth Baker, Hubert Marcum, Herbert Marcum, Pauline Lewis, John Marcum, Hiram Marcum, and Ernest Marcum.
The Funeral Service will be held 3 PM Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home with Ken Bolin and Charlie Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 1 PM Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home.
