James Harrison "Hijacker" Cottrell, 80, of Manchester, was born November 24th, 1933, and passed away Sunday, December 22nd, 2013 at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Cottrell, of Manchester, and these children, Felix Ray Cottrell, Melinda Vickers and her husband Gary, Carrie Jones and fiancé Tracy Asher, all of Manchester, Lena Asher and her husband Daniel, of Gooserock, along with three grandchildren, James Turbyfill, Jaxon Asher, and Adalyn Asher.
He is also survived by two brothers, Jack Cottrell, of London, and Charles Cottrell, of Manchester.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Preacher James A. and Bertha Cottrell.
Funeral services for James Harrison Cottrell will be held 2PM Friday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Curtis Wagers and J.C. Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery in Manchester. Visitation will be after 6PM Thursday at the Britton Funeral Home.
