Luther Vaughn, 83, of Manchester, was born May 28th, 1930, passed away Thursday, September 20th, 2013, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Lou Ellen Vaughn, and the two daughters, Maggie Smith, and husband, Melvin, of Manchester, and Patty Swanner, and husband, Tommy, of London.
He is also survived by two grandchildren: Kimberly Reynolds and Mark Swanner, two great grandchildren: Russell Lucas Reynolds and Luke Grant Swanner, and two sisters: Claudia Wagers, of Bethel, OH and Evie Hicks, of London.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed & Roseanne Vaughn, and the following brothers and sisters: Edward Vaughn, Theo Vaughn, Ollie Hicks, Mattie Cottongim, Nannie Hicks, and Lucy Vaughn.
Funeral services for Luther Vaughn will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with Youel Napier officiating. Burial will follow in the Bundy Cemetery at Manchester.
Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home.
