Anderson "Pejib" Allen, 88, of Manchester, was born June 15th, 1925, and passed away Friday September 6th, 2013 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his children: James Allen, and wife, Marie, Gary Allen, and wife, Kim, all of Manchester, Charles Benny Allen, and wife, Sherry, of Cincinnati, OH, General Allen, and wife, Nancy, of Norwood, OH, Joyce Lawson, and husband, Steve, of London.
He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren, along with one brother, Sherman Allen, and wife, Sophia, of London, and one sister, Myrtle Jackson, of Michigan.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Hester Allen, and his daughters, Janice Bowling and Mary Magdalene Allen.
He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
Funeral services for Anderson "Pejib" Allen will be held 1 PM Monday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Tess Lipps and Keith Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home.
