Amy Renee Smith, 37, was born, March 4th, 1976, and passed away, September 4th, 2013 at 9:25 A.M. at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington after a long hard battle with cancer.
She is survived by her parents, Earl and Debbie Smith, of Burning Springs, one sister, Kimberly Smith, of Bullskin, one brother, Jason Smith, of Burning Springs, and her paternal grandmother, Myrtle O'Brien, of Corbin, KY, and many other uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Also surviving are her nieces and nephews that she loved so dearly, Jason Nicholas Smith, Lindsey Michelle Smith, Brittany Nicole Smith, and Preston Skylar Bush, and her favorite nephew –in-law, Jamie B. Bush.
Amy is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Pearl and Lettie Parker, her paternal grandfather, Hardin Smith, her aunt Eulene Smith, her uncles, Hugh Parker, and Robert Parker.
Amy loved everybody, especially her family and friends. Amy will be missed by many friends and family members all over the states. We love you Amy, life will not be the same without you!
A memorial service for Amy Renee Smith will be held at 1 PM Tuesday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Brad Stevens and Chris Roberts officiating.
A memorial dinner will be served at the Liberty Baptist church following the service.
