Arnold Smith, 85, of Hector, was born March 5th, 1928, passed away Friday July 12th, 2013, at his home.
He is survived by his wife Martha Smith, these children: Arnold Wayne Smith and wife, Carla Kaye, of Elk Creek, David Lee Smith, of Hamilton, OH, Ethel Louise Norton, and husband, Jonathan, of Harrodsburg, Jeri Sue Sester and husband, Beck, of Oneida, Shri Kay Hoskins, of Laurel Branch, and Bonita Yevette Smith, of Ft. Meyers, FL, and these step-children: Logan Mitchel, Joey Mitchell, and Brenda Henderson, and husband, Tony, all of London, and Michael Mitchell, of Rices Fork.
He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 14 grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Arlie Smith and wife, Julie, and Robert Smith, and wife, Hazel, all of Hector, Pansy Hacker, of Erline, and Doxie Cope and husband, Freddie, of Jackson Co.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bertha Smith, and 4 children.
Funeral services for Arnold Smith will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with Wade England officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowling Cemetery, at Big Creek.
Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Monday at the Britton Funeral Home.
