Ernest Barrett, 70, of Manchester, was born, October 5th, 1942, passed away, Monday, June 24th, 2013 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his children: Ernest Duane Barrett, of Jacks Branch, Sharlene Hoskins, of Burning Springs, Sheila Kay Runion, of Laurel Creek, and six grandchildren.
He is also survived by one brother, Franklin Barrett, Jr., of Manchester, and these sisters, Rosetta Mathis, of Jacks Branch, Marie Sizemore, of Richmond, KY, and Elizabeth Cole, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Also surviving is his special companion, Kathy Jones, of Laurel Creek.
He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
Funeral services for Ernest Barrett will be held 2 PM Friday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Paul Jackson and Henry Lloyd Deaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Barrett Cemetery at Jacks Branch. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at the Britton Funeral Home.
