(LONDON, KY.) – On Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at approximately 4:20 p.m., the Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London, received a report of a single vehicle (motorcycle) traffic crash on Anders Road in Laurel County, KY.
Upon arrival Trooper Shaler Jones determined that a 1987, Kawasaki, motorcycle was traveling southbound on Anders Road when it failed to negotiate a curve, when out of control and struck a gate post.
The operator, Larry A. Worley, 54, of London, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Laurel County Coroner.
No drug or alcohol usage was suspected. p> Trooper Jones is in charge of the investigation and was assisted by the Laurel County Coroner’s Office and Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County.
