Caleb Collins, Jr., 79, of Manchester, KY, passed away Monday, March 24th, at his home. Caleb was born in Botto, KY on September 12, 1945, a son of the late Susie Napier and Caleb Collins. Caleb was principal at Paces Creek Elementary for several years and interim principal at Goose Rock Elementary after retiring. He was also a member of Manchester Baptist Church.
Caleb is survived by his wife, Anna Massey Collins of Manchester, KY.
Caleb is also survived by his daughter, Kathern Suzanna Collins of Manchester, KY; as well as the following brothers and sisters: Bobbie Dean Heatherly (Warren) of Lafollette, TN, Martha Cheek (Tony) of Niceville, FL, Ruby Nightlinger (John) of Lakeland, FL, Charles Collins (Janet) of Athens, GA, Carl Collins (Patricia) of Niceville, FL, and Wayne Collins (Glenna) of Manchester, KY. He also leaves behind a host of Cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Caleb is preceded in death by the following siblings: Gladys Pease, George Collins, Betty Bowling, Verlon Collins, Steve Collins, Roy Collins, CB Collins, and Alvin Collins.
In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to Manchester Baptist Church or the Gideons International.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
