Jennie Lou Cheek, 65, of London, Ky, passed away Monday, February 3rd, at the St. Joseph Lexington Hospital. Jennie was born in Garrad, Ky, on March 5th, 1959, a daughter of Jewell Dean Smallwood Smith, of Manchester, Ky, and the late Raymond Smith.
Jennie is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Cheek.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sherry Riley and husband "Fatty" and Rebecca Lynn Cheek; by her two sons Rodney Cheek and Terry Cheek and wife Rebecca, all of London, Ky. As well as Tiffany Wagers who she considered as her daughter.
She is also survived by the following grandchildren: Micalal Riley, Gary Riley, Cabela Riley, Ashley Cheek, and Kari Cheek; the following great-grandchildren: Ellie Mae and Anna Rose; by her three brothers, Glenn Smith and fiancée Dale of Buckhorn, Ky, Ricky Smith and wife "Sissy" of Manchester, Ky, and Jackie Smith of Tennesse: as well as the following nieces and nephews: Kevin Wagers, Little Ricky Smith, Paige Smith, Morgan Wagers, Josh Smith, and Jonathon Smith.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jennie is preceded in death by her niece, Melinda Mills.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 9th at Britton Funeral Home, with Gary Dugger and Paul Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuttle Cemetery in London, Ky.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 8th at Britton Funeral Home.
