Pearl Jean Herd, 50, of Manchester, KY, passed away Saturday, October 19th, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Pearl was born in Knox County, KY on January 15, 1974, a daughter of the late William and Mary Williams Collins.
Pearl is survived by her husband, Edward Herd; and her children: Tristan Herd, Abigail Herd, and Colton Herd, all of Manchester.
She is also survived by her sisters: Sherry Townsend and husband John, Patricia Smith and husband Reece, Birdie Smith and husband Frank, and Laura Stewart and husband Russell; by her brothers: William Collins, Franklin Collins and wife Kim, and Boyd Collins and wife Amanda; her mother-in-law, Virginia Herd; by 31 nieces and nephews; and by several great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her niece, Jasmine Collins; and her father-in-law, Lloyd Herd.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 25th at Britton Funeral Home, with Anthony Lovett and Stephen Dezarn officiating. Burial will follow at the Beech Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 24th at Britton Funeral Home.
