Jimmy Wayne Chesnut, 72, of Manchester, KY, passed away Sunday, October 13th, at his home. Jimmy was born in Manchester, KY on December 19, 1951, a son of the late Jack C. and Anna Lee Allen Chesnut. He was part owner of KMI, and he completed a tool and die apprenticeship.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Karen Jackson Chesnut; and his children: Tracie Chesnut and husband Mark Hoskins of Manchester, Ronnie Chesnut and wife Amy of Corbin, and Keith Chesnut and wife B G of Manchester.
He is also survived by his brother, Kevin Chesnut and wife Tracy of Manchester; his grandchldren: Ashley Camille Reid, McKayla Alexis Smith, Jaxon Williams, and Ryleigh Makenna Chesnut; and his great-grandchildren: Palmer Reid, Lennon Reid, Bryson Smith, Blakelynn Smith, and Bowen Smith.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandson, Aaron Jack Chesnut; and his brother, Larry Chesnut.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in memory of Jimmy to The Gideons International.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 17th at Horse Creek Baptist Church, with Dustin Sims and Anthony Lovett officiating. Burial will follow at the Clark Cemetery in Sextons Creek.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 17th at Horse Creek Baptist Church.
