Jewell Dean England, 83, of Manchester, KY, passed away at 11:25 AM on September 10th, at her beloved home. Jewell was born on April 28, 1941 in Manchester, KY. She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Leona Cheek Minton.
She was married to her sweetheart, the late Pearl England. Jewell and Pearl were Auxiliary Members of the Gideons International. Together they were the parents to their only child, Wade England. She loved her daughter-in-law, Sheila, like her own. She is survived by her two grandchildren: Kisha (Kyle) Reed and Josh (Kara Beth) England. Her pride and joys were her great-grandchildren: Bryce, AnnaBeth, William, Jett, and Grady.
She is also survived by her three sisters: Joyce (John) Hammons, and Mary Miller, both from Crothersville, IN, and Kathy (Travis) Wooton of Austin, IN; her two brothers: Marshall (Wyanna) Minton of Crothersville, IN, and Ronald Minton of Manchester, KY. She was survived by a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl, two sisters, Annalee Madden and Elsie Money, and by four brothers, Ray, Loren, Wayne, and Darrell Minton.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 14th at Trinity Lighthouse Church in Manchester, KY, with Wade England officiating. Burial will follow at the Bruner Cemetery in London, KY.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, September 13th at Trinity Lighthouse Church in Manchester, KY.
