Louisville, Kentucky Duo Arrested Wednesday after Search Warrant Executed on Highway 1676 in Pulaski County

SOMERSET, KY - Pulaski County Sheriff Bobby Jones reports that two Louisville residents are in jail following a search warrant at a Science Hill residence.

Pulaski County 150The incident began when Deputies from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, along with Kentucky State Police Detectives executed a search warrant at a Science Hill residence on Highway 1676.

Law enforcement knocked and announced at a garage behind the residence, but did not receive a response. Smoke began coming from inside of the garage, so Deputies attempted to force entry to the front door, but were unsuccessful due to the door being barricaded. Deputies were finally able to make entry through the side of the garage.

After gaining entry to the garage, Law enforcement found a wood-burning stove with a lit fire in the garage, and the garage floor was also on fire. Law enforcement began attempts to extinguish the fire and take control of the individuals inside of the garage.

The two occupants were identified as: Thomas Edward Soble, age 43, of Louisville, KY and Sarah Anne Morris, age 33, of Louisville, KY.

Deputies discovered Thomas Edward Soble had an empty holster on his side.

During the interviews of the suspects, Law enforcement was informed the subjects in the garage burnt approximately 2.5 pounds of methamphetamine, in the wood burning stove, before Deputies could make entry.
