Dorothy McFadden Baker, 74, of Manchester, Ky., passed away Friday, August 30th, at the Saint Joseph London Hospital. Dorothy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 4th, 1950, a daughter of the late Otis and Cora Turner McFadden.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Baker.
She is survived by her sisters: Joanne Deaton, Brenda Jackson, and Jeannie Hodge and husband Terry; by her nieces: Tonya Duffy, Regina Friend and fiancé Tony Howard; by her great nieces and nephews: Alex Duffy, Ashley Hacker, Tiffany Craven and husband Josh Craven, Stephanie Roudebush and husband Larry, Samantha, Paula Reece and husband Jamie, Jordan Hacker, Hailey Hacker, Shelby Swank and husband Billy, and Matthew Friend. By her great-great nieces and nephew: Rose, Makenna Friend, and Liam Swank. And by her friend, Norma.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy is preceded in death by her brothers: Hobe Deaton and Dean Deaton.
A celebration of life for Dorothy will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 4th at her house. As well as a celebration of life that will be held from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on October 12th in Ohio.
