Jimmy Don Lawson, 71 passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the AdventHealth of Manchester. He was born on Saturday, November 1, 1952 in Manchester to John C. Lawson and Doris Martin Cottongim.
He leaves to mourn his passing his daughters: Serena Patterson and Mary Jo Fisher, his grandchildren: John C. Patterson, Donnie Patterson, Jimmy Ray Lawson, Jonathan Saylor, Alexis Collins and Betty Marie Fisher, a host of great grandchildren and his brother: Bobby Joe Lawson.
He is preceded in death by his parents: John C. Lawson and Doris Cottongim, his grandson: Timothy Michael Patterson, his brothers: Johnny Dean Lawson and Charles Freddy Lawson and his sister: Linda Sue Lawson.
Graveside Services for Jimmy Don Lawson will be conducted on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 1 PM at the Stivers Baker Cemetery in the Island Creek Community. Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Stivers Baker Cemetery in the Island Creek Community.
No visitation will be held.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
