Margaret Ruth Gibson, 70, of Manchester, KY, passed away Monday, April 15th, at the Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center. Margaret was born in Berea, KY on November 8, 1953, a daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy Lamb Phillips.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Gibson.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Renee Phillips, of Big Creek.
She is also survived by her sisters: Patricia Gregory and husband Hugh of London, and Joyce Mills of Manchester; and her grandchildren: Savannah Henson and Alexis Scott.
In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: Mary Gregory, Joseph Phillips, Eddie Phillips, Debra Wright, and Charlotte Phillips.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 20th at the Hals Fork Holiness Church in Big Creek, KY, with Michael Sparks, Jerry Holland, and Jerry McKinley Holland officiating. Burial will follow at the Gregory Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 19th at the Hals Fork Holiness Church.
