Mary Hazel Roberts Turner, 96, of Manchester, KY, passed away Sunday, April 7th, at her home. Hazel was born in Hensley, KY on June 11, 1927, a daughter of the late Willie and Easter Webb Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Turner. Hazel was a member of the Pentecostals of Manchester, and was a faithful, dedicated Christian who love the Lord. She was a kind, gentle, and humble servant to all who passed her.
Hazel is survived by her daughters: Linda Rethmeyer of Manchester, KY, and Brenda Caudill and husband David of Ocala, FL.
She is also survived by her brother and sisters: William Roberts, Jr. and wife Joanne of London, KY, Allie Sue White and husband Jennings of Manchester, KY, and Lettie Chadwell and husband Earl of Burlington, KY; by her brother-in-law, Monte Hounchell, and sisters-in-law, Mary Anne Roberts and Jeannie Roberts; by her grandchildren: David Rethmeyer and wife Kimberly, Deon Rethmeyer and wife Tequita, Buffy Rethmeyer, David Travis Caudill and wife Dondi, and Lynsey Woolsey and husband Zack; and her great-grandchildren: Chelsea Rethmeyer, Josh Wagers, Megan Rethmeyer, Elizabeth Rethmeyer, Hannah Rethmeyer, Cameran Pentland, Mason Rethmeyer, Rylan Fugate, Daisy Caudill, and Daxton Caudill; and by a host of great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her grandson, Wesley Caudill; and the following brothers and sisters: Clayton Roberts, Larry Joe Roberts, Lola Hounchell and Mona Roberts.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 11th at Britton Funeral Home, with Pastor Wesley Fugate, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the B F White Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 11th at Britton Funeral Home.
