Virginia Ruth Santana, age 77 departed this life on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky. She was born on Wednesday, April 2, 1947 in Manchester to John and Edna (Bowling) Stevens. She was retired from Caron Spinning Company as a security guard.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Francisco “Frank” Santana and two children: Carroll Smith, Jr. and Jamie Roberts; these grandchildren: Nicholas Roberts, Zachary Smith, Tommy Combs, Bethany Roberts, Brooklyn Roberts, Trevor Henderson, Amber Day, Connor Smith and Caroline Smith and several great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters: Zella Kowolonek, Linda Stevens, and Brenda Bailey.
She is preceded in death by her parents: John and Edna Stevens, her child: Jewel Smith and these brothers: Ernie Stevens, Johnny Stevens, Lawrence Stevens, and David Asher.
Funeral Services for Virginia Ruth Santana will be conducted on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 1 PM at the Curry Branch Holiness Church. Rev. George Roberts and Rev. James Allen will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Roberts Cemetery in the Curry Branch Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Sunday, April 7, 2024 after 7 PM at the Curry Branch Holiness Church.
