Jeannie Hensley George, age 62, wife of Doug George of London, Kentucky and formerly of Manchester, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was the mother of Tyler George of London, Kentucky; the sister of David Hensley and wife Rita, Donna White and husband Doug all of London, Kentucky, Barbara Fields and husband Donnie, and Larry Hensley all of Manchester, Kentucky.
She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Vonita George of London, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Gertrude Tipton Hensley.
She was a member of Liberty Worship Center of Manchester, Kentucky and a retired school teacher.
Funeral services for Jeannie Hensley George will be conducted Monday, January 29, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rusty Roberts, Bro. Ronnie Owens, and Adam Hooker officiating. Burial will follow at Rough Creek Cemetery.
The family of Jeannie Hensley George will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Taylor Smith, Brandon Maggard, Robb Owens, Glen Gray, David Martin, and Anthony Sizemore.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Grayson George, Conrad Cessna, Trey Hensley, Neil Hensley, and Travis Fields.
