Billy Roland Phillips, age 83 departed this life on Friday, November 24, 2023. He was born on Monday, September 23, 1940 in Manchester, Kentucky to Roland Phillips and Edith (P’nut) (Bowling) Phillips. He worked in the coal mines. He left behind wonderful stories, great smiles and always laughter.
He leaves to mourn his passing his family including: Cherokee Phillips, Nocona Phillips, Kaid Rogers and wife Renee, Avonni Phillips, Nikkia Phillips, Christopher, Dominick and Phoebe Phillips, Ryan and Cookie; his special friends: P’nut Abner and Harvey Lewis and a host of family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Roland and Edith Phillips; and his family: Jack Phillips, Wanda Phillips and Kelly Rogers.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
