Franklin Collins, Sr. departed this life November 2nd, 2023, at 9:46 AM at the VA Medical Center surrounded by his family.
He was born January 7, 1959, to the union of Rufus and Jackie Collins in Carbon County, Utah and was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Jackie Collins; his siblings: Christopher Columbus Collins, Thomas Jefferson Collins, Rufus Wayne Collins, Robert Don Collins, and Dolly Carolyn Robinson; one grandson, Jaythan Blake Collins; and 3 great-grandchildren: Levi Chase Sumner, Atlas Ronan, and Jerricho Dean McQueen.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bonnie Lou Collins; and 2 children: Tracy Lynn Smith and husband Shawn Smith of Richmond, and Franklin Collins, Jr. and wife Amberly Collins of Manchester; one sister, Joy Collins; 9 grandkids: Jacinda, Brittany, Madison, Albert, Wyatt, Trevor, Kane, Kamber, and Daxton; 2 great-grandkids: Bentley and Gracelynn; and by a host of family and friends.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 11th at the Collins Family Cemetery of Collins Gibson Road, with Paul Mitchell officiating.
