Shafter Bowling Jr., 81, of Manchester, KY, passed away Friday, September 22nd, 2023. Shafter was a retired diesel mechanic and truck driver, and a member of Bethany Pentecostal Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edith and Shafter Bowling; and one brother, Vernon Edward Bowling.
Shafter is survived by his wife, Jo Ann; and his children: Yvonne Bowling and Tami Woods, both of Manchester, KY; Rodney Farmer of Lexington, KY, and Ronnie Farmer and wife Kristal of London, KY.
Also surviving are 8 grandchildren: Shevy Woods, Shafter Ryan (Jessica) Davidson, Clay Bowling, Glyndon Woods, Isaac Woods, Anabel Farmer, Adison Farmer, and Katie Nunn; and by 4 great-grandchildren: Rylee Davidson, Atlas Davidson, Gunner Davidson, and Braelyn Dugger.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 24th at the Burchell Cemetery on Greenbriar, with Travis Fields officiating.
