Ronald Combs, 79, of Oneida, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 19th, at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. Ronald was born in Oneida, KY on December 18, 1943, a son of the late Clyde and Irene Napier Combs. He was a coal miner and retired from the county garage.
Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Roark Combs.
Ronald is survived by his daughters: Carol Rowland (Jimmy Rowland) of Louisville, and Teresa Gleisner (David Gleisner) of Corbin; his grandchildren: Whitney Rowland and Cody Rowland (Kortney Rowland), both of Louisville; and his son-in-law, Thomas "Rocky" Robinson of Manchester.
He is also survived by his sister and brothers: Mildred "Micky" Combs of Oneida, Clyde Combs Jr. (Dianna Combs) of Winchester, and Billy Combs of Oneida.
In addition to his wife and parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Robinson; and his sister Mary Thompson.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 25th at the Maxaline Baker Cemetery in Oneida, KY, with Steve Crumpler officiating.
