Lloyd Edward Herd, 82, of Manchester, KY, passed away Friday, August 18th, at his home. Lloyd was born in Manchester, KY, on April 24th, 1941, a son of the late John and Susie Hounchell Herd.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Virginia Dezarn Herd of Manchester.
He is also survived by his sons and daughter: Edward Herd and wife Pearl, Paul Herd, Lloyd Herd Jr. and wife Willa, all of Manchester, and Billie Sue Herd of London; and 11 grandchildren: Christopher Herd, Matthew Smith, Trinity Herd, Tristan Herd, Tyler Herd, Kaylee Smith, Courtney Collins, Paige Hubbard, Emily Daughtry, Abigail Herd, and Colton Herd; and 11 great-grandchildren: Irvin Herd, Payton Herd, Chloe Herd, Ryder Herd, Lakelyn Herd, Emerson Truitt, Karoline Hubbard, Remington Herd, Andrew Hubbard, and Aiden Hubbard.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd is preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Herd, and by his brother, Marion Herd.
Services for Lloyd will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 22nd, at Britton Funeral Home, with Bobby Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Creek Cemetery.
Visitation for Lloyd will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, August 21st, at Britton Funeral Home
