Gail Stevens, 65 of Manchester, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023. Gail worked as a custodian at the Clay County Courthouse for over eight years, she loved her family – especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind two daughters, Kendra Bridges & husband Brad, April Whitaker & husband Bryan; two siblings, Donnie Sams & wife Margaret; Larry Sams; two grandchildren, Jaycob Whitaker, Cooper Martin; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Stevens; her parents, Marvin Sams & Agnes Sibert Sams.
Funeral services for Gail Stevens will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Jerome Eversole, Adam Eversole & Ted Eversole officiating. Burial will follow at the Sams Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky.
The family will receive friends on Thursday July 20, 2023 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour, also at the funeral home. The family respectfully requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
